Hi, I’m Erryn

Welcome to Nurtured Mothers Wellbeing.

A Mental Health Service specialising in
Perinatal, Maternal and Women’s Mental Health.
Scroll down to see my qualifications and certifications.

I’m an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (click here to find out what that means) who specialises in Perinatal and Maternal Mental health. I’m also a certified Motherhood Studies Practitioner. I am passionate about supporting those identifying as Mothers and Women.

Since having my own child, I have developed a passion for this life stage and Matresence which brings a set of unique experiences and challenges.

Alongside my current work I am a Student Social Work Supervisor supporting Students in their field placements. Prior to working in this space, I worked in the community mental health sector providing support to young people aged 12-25 years old and their parents/carers via individual counselling and groups. In addition, I have also worked within the NDIS support system and corporate environments.

I adopt a warm, and nurturing environment where Mothers and families feel safe and empowered to explore their experiences.

Therapeutic Approach & Practice

My practice is person-centered, strengths based and grounded in attachment and relational theory to support secure attachment and relationships.

My approach is holistic and incorporates a biopsychosocial lens to support. Support is driven by your goals and what is important to you, and I encourage this throughout the service.

I use a range of treatment modalities including Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Informed Therapy.
