Erryn supports those identifying as Mothers, Women, and Young Women (16years+).

Every Woman, Mother and family are unique, therefore, please contact if you would like more specific information as to whether Nurtured Mothers is the right support for you and your family.

I use a range of treatment modalities including Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Informed Therapy. Please find more information about my therapeutic approach in the About section.

Perinatal & Maternal Mental Health

Individual support for those identifying as Mothers, Birthing Parents and Non-Birthing Parents.

I work with Women and Mothers from Pre-Conception through early childhood, and into established parenting with Teenage aged children.

Common referral concerns include:

  • Depression & Anxiety

  • Matrescence & Adjustment to Motherhood

  • Identity & Self Esteem

  • Grief, Loss & Trauma (including birth trauma)

  • Relationship changes  and communication difficulties

  • Gender disappointment

  • Managing strong emotions including anger, rage, guilt and shame.

  • Managing intrusive thoughts

  • Attachment & Bonding challenges with your infant/child

  • Overwhelm and emotions relating to their child’s behaviours and emotions.

  • Trauma Informed Birth & Postpartum Planning

  • Returning to Work

  • Support through fertility treatments and  infertility

Babies and young children are welcome to attend sessions. Occasionally the individual therapy session may involve partners or support people if it is appropriate and discussed.

Women’s Mental Health (16years+)

  • Managing strong emotions including anger, rage, guilt and shame.

  • Perfectionism and worry 

  • Managing stress, exhaustion and burnout

  • Difficulty with transitions

  • Friendship difficulties

  • Stress regarding study and work.

Women’s Health Counselling

I have a special interest in women’s health I and I have completed further training in supporting women experiencing anxiety and stress relating to intimacy and gynecological conditions.  Concerns may include:

  • Endometriosis

  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

  • Dyspareunia (painful sex)

  • Vaginismus and vulvodynia

Non-Directive Pregnancy & Options Counselling

A total of 3 sessions for those who are currently pregnant or have been pregnant in the past 12 months. This support requires a GP referral.

These sessions provide a safe and confidential space for individuals (and partners if appropriate) to explore worries or concerns relating to a pregnancy, options counselling, pregnancy loss or early in the postpartum period.
